In July – August 2026, the Young Women Ignite and Thrive Program was offered as a 5-session in-person program. It provides opportunities for young girls to learn about gender-based violence and safety tips, understand their emotions and how to regulate them, learn about seeking legal help, boost their confidence, and engage in mindfulness exercises to support their overall mental health and wellness.
We are grateful to Lady Ballers Centre and all of the partners who made this initiative a huge success in the lives of all our young participants!
Thank you to the City of Brampton’s Advance Brampton Fund for supporting such an important initiative, one that the girls want to continue to impact even more youth!
