Women Focus Canada – Summer 2026 Hiring
We are currently seeking talented and reliable individuals based in Canada for two full-time, short-term contract roles under the Canada Summer Jobs Program:
- Social Media & Community Manager
- Administrative Assistant

Role Details
- Duration: 8 weeks (Starting May 2026)
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Pay: $17.60 per hour
- Location: Brampton, ON (Mostly remote with occasional in-person events)
- Eligibility: Must be based in Canada
Social Media & Community Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow Women Focus Canada’s presence across:
- TikTok
- Facebook (community engagement & growth)
- YouTube (video editing & publishing)
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging, value-driven content
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for YouTube and social platforms
- Build and nurture an active online community, especially on Facebook
- Monitor performance metrics and provide weekly insights
- Support brand visibility, campaigns, and audience engagement
Content & Event Support:
- Available for content creation and event coverage
- Attend in-person events within the GTA to capture photos/videos and create real-time content
- Translate live event moments into engaging digital content for Youtube and TikTok
Administrative Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support
- Assist with scheduling, email communication, and documentation
- Support program coordination and event logistics
- Maintain organized records and assist with reporting
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of activities
- Attend occasional in-person events within the GTA to assist with logistics and coordination
Eligibility Requirements (Mandatory)
- Must be between 15 to 30 years old at the start of the role
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status
- Must have a valid SIN (cannot start with 9)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- International students or individuals on temporary visas are not eligible
