Mr. Olusegun Temitope Babadele born into a family of seven, Olusegun Babadele lived with his grandmother who taught and inculcated in him the idea that a life worth living is a life dedicated to service of humanity. This maternal influence has developed in Olusegun the DNA of forever probing for solutions to alleviate situations that would otherwise result in epidemic casualties for communities of people living in deplorable conditions.
Olusegun is an Information Science and Technology solution professional with three decades of experience in the financial, retail, telecommunications, and healthcare industries to support millions of customers on a real-time access basis. One of several initiatives undertaken by Olusegun is a community portable drinking water scheme aimed at eradicating contaminated water-related diseases by raising funds of donor-assisted resources to construct a water treatment and purification plant in a certain community OASIS (watering hole).
Widely travelled, Olusegun has worked in four different continents of vastly diverse cultures while consulting for various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Olusegun has a myriad of specializations in IBM, Oracle, Network Appliance products, and HDS data solution technologies at different points of engagement on projects. He has been exposed to different cultures in Scotland (Edinburg), South Africa (Midrand), Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, and Canada. A valuable team player with an excellent sense of inclusivity, Olusegun is ever willing to navigate uncharted courses to create new experiences. This is the core of his flexibility attribute that prompted him to relocate and migrate to Canada in 2006 to further his career. Olusegun currently works as a certified and agile project manager at a retail and health care organization in Ontario, Canada.
Olusegun completed his first degree with a distinguished Bachelor of Science Honours in Engineering Physics from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1990 followed by one year of voluntary national service in a remote location where he taught science and mathematics to high school students. After eight years of work experience as an IT support engineer with IBM Nigeria, he proceeded to enroll in postgraduate studies at River State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) where he was awarded a Master degree in Telecommunication Engineering.
