Women Focus Canada is currently looking for VIRTUAL speakers to support our Youth Civic Engagement Program workshops.

Workshops Dates/Time:
Tuesdays April 22 – May 13 @ 6-8 pm (virtual)

Theme: Catalysts for Change : Empowering Youth in Civic Engagement & Leadership

• Empowering women in the public sector Exploring high demand career pathways in the public sector. 
• Impact, importance and challenges of public sector work. 
• Careers in Community Development / Services – including Leadership & Professional Development. 
• Careers pathway in community development/services. 
• How to influence change locally. 
• Empowering women in community activism. 
• Civic Engagement & Networking. 
• Cultivating skills for effective advocacy, community involvement, and social impact.
• Understanding civic roles, exploring different forms of participation.
