For Parents: Keeping Your Children Safe Online
For Parents: Keeping Your Children Safe Online – Tuesday May 6 at 6 pm via Zoom
Do you sometimes worry about what your children might be encountering online – How can you recognize when something is wrong? And how can you help?
Learn how to guide your kids so they’ll stay safe and have positive experiences on the internet and in social media.
We are excited to announce that, in partnership with the Telus Wise digital education program, we will be offering a session just for parents led by a skilled and experienced trainer, Micsandra Dutca.
Micsandra gave such a helpful session to middle school students in March that their parents asked us to run a session just for them!
The session for parents will include topics such:
Cyberbullying, Gaming and Social Media
Screen time, parental controls, and online stranger danger
And even how to deal with pornography and sexting – we may wish our kids would never encounter these things, but …
Please join us for this session on Tuesday May 6 at 6 pm.
